Per cartridge. Battery included. Pickup in Renown Park, or $12 for the first game + $5 for each additional (you pay delivery to us).

Save kept note: If the battery is already too weak, the save may be unreadable. We’ll check before swapping and let you know. No extra charge if we can’t recover it — you only pay the $15 battery rate.

Postage: $12 for the first game, $5 for each additional. You pay for delivery of the cartridges to Nick Nitro. Return postage is included.

Battery replaced, contacts cleaned, and tested. Save restored if requested.

Common titles: Pokémon (all generations), Zelda, Chrono Trigger, EarthBound, Super Mario RPG, and most battery-backed carts from the systems above.

Save batteries we install:

CR2025 — Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and some SNES
CR2032 — NES, SNES, N64, Master System, Mega Drive, 32X
CR1616 — Game Boy Advance (Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and others)

Handheld rechargeable batteries

We also replace internal rechargeable batteries on handhelds. These power the device itself — not the same as save batteries.

What you need to know

• Existing save data is wiped on the $15 service. Choose $30 if you want it kept.
• Authentic Nintendo cartridges only. Reproductions are not serviced.
• If the board has corrosion or damage, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
• Typical turnaround: same day for drop-off, 2–4 days for mail-in after we receive it.
• Fresh battery should last 10–15+ years under normal use.
